Privacy policy

What we collect

When you call. Our phone number is a call-tracking line. The call may be recorded for quality and training. California is a two-party consent state, so you will hear an announcement at the start of the call. If you do not want to be recorded, say so and we will stop the recording and take your information by hand.
When you use a form. The name, phone, email, address, job details, and any photo you send. We use it only to schedule and quote your job.
When you browse. Standard analytics (pages viewed, approximate location by city, device type) through a single analytics tool. We do not run advertising pixels, and we do not sell or share browsing data.

What we do with it

Schedule and perform the work, send you a quote or invoice, and keep the job record we are required to keep as a licensed locksmith company. Lockout records include the ID check we performed. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with anyone except the payment processor, the call-tracking and analytics providers that process it on our behalf, and law enforcement when legally required.

How long we keep it

Job records for as long as California law and our insurer require. Call recordings only as long as we need them to check service quality and settle any question about a job, then they are deleted. Form submissions until the job is closed and the record is filed.

Your choices

California residents can ask what we hold about them, ask for it to be deleted where the law allows, and opt out of any sharing (we do none). Email shop@avocadolocksmith.com or call (760) 492-6506.
